Cognition, conditioning, and brain function

This class will cover the basic concepts, theories, and terminology for Psychology at the high school level. Topics include social psychology, operant and classical conditioning, cognitive psychology, biological psychology, and introductory brain structure and function.
From this class, students will gain familiarity with Psychology terms and concepts within the different broad categories of the Psychology field. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to think about how Psychology concepts apply to their day to day lives, and hopefully pique their interest in the field in general.

- Class 3: Social Psychology
- Class 4: Cognitive Psychology
- Class 5: The Neuron and Brain Structure & Function
- Class 6: Biological Psychology
- Class 7: Brain Abnormalities
- Class 8+9: Final Review
Stephanie completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology at UCLA before coming to Seattle to pursue a Master's degree. She has taught high school level courses in Chemistry, Geometry, and Psychology. She has 10 years' experience coaching students, and believes that every student has the capacity to succeed given enough motivation and guidance.

In the event that you must cancel, your payment will be fully refundable until 5 business days prior to the class start date. Cancellations made less than 5 business days in advance of the class will be partially refunded at 50% (for example, $250 refund payment for a $500 class). Cancellations may be made by phone or email.
In the event that we must cancel the class, we will notify you via phone or email and refund you in full.
