Monday 22 July - Friday 26 July | 11am-1pm
Even for the most diligent high school students, taking the ACT and SAT can be a unique challenge. This class will equip students with the skills needed for a successful testing experience: content mastery, pacing and fatigue management, and section-specific strategies. The class will be a small-group setting to allow a tailored approach. Practice exercises will be interactive and student-led, and students will receive practice materials to complete at home to reinforce the lessons learned in class.
(This class is designed for any high school student planning to take the ACT or SAT).
By the end of the course, students will have learned the following:
ACT/SAT Language, Reading, and Math content
Optimal strategy for each test section
Pacing and clock management
Effective essay writing
Tips and shortcuts for working efficiently
Common test pitfalls
