Andy’s passion for teaching is born of his own love of learning and quest for knowledge. Originally from the UK, he has an undergraduate degree from Oxford University and a master's from the University of Edinburgh. He enjoys traveling, playing cricket and rugby, and spending time with his wife and two young daughters.


Kit Rutter

Director of Educational Programming & Executive Function Specialist

Kit has worked with kids aged Pre-K through college in a range of contexts from outdoor ed and school gardening to private tutoring and classroom teaching. She has worked with K-12 students as a teacher and tutor for over 10 years. Kit’s expertise is in supporting foundational understandings of literacy and mathematics, and she has a master's degree in elementary education. Kit has worked with diverse populations, including English language learners, refugees, and neurodiverse students, and has a range of strategies to support students who learn differently.


Alaina Boyle

Partner PRovider, Mentally Healthy Student Program

Alaina has an M.A. in Child & Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. She believes that academic success and socioemotional health are inseparable and helps ensure that all coaches are equipped to support students with diverse needs. Alaina also heads Hampton Tutor's new "Mentally Healthy Student" program which combines coaching and counseling services to offer wraparound support for teens.
